Provides an empowerment-based model for relative caregivers in Albany, Schenectady, and Rensselaer Counties. Services include basic needs assessment, community-based support groups, casework counseling, and referral and linkage to community-based services. Parenting, educational, and skill-building opportunities are offered periodically. This agency offers support, knowledge, and empowerment designed to supplement caregivers’ circle of friends and family, so they can be successful in the parenting role.
